Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts

Plante Moran Trust is pleased to serve as your personal representative and Trustee of your Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust. In this capacity, we will collect and remit annual premium payments, serve annual Crummey notices to beneficiaries, as required, and provide periodic accountings.

Fees are calculated and billed annually.

Extraordinary or unusual services, including policy exchanges and special policy evaluations, may require additional fees based upon time expended and responsibilities assumed.

Following the death of the insured, the fee schedule for full service trusts will apply. Where the agreement requires distribution of all or some principal after collection of the insurance proceeds, a 1% distribution fee of the value distributed will be charged.

Any cash contributed to the trust for the purpose of paying a life insurance premium payment will be held as cash until the premium is paid and will not be invested. Not interest will be earned on funds held by the trustee.
